This post is about a gifted experience courtesy of Bubble Boba UK – Coventry.
So many of us are obsessed with Bubble Tea nowadays but not so many of us take the time to figure out where it comes from, how it’s made and what it contains! I had the absolute pleasure of organising and partaking in the first ever Bubble Tea Master Class with Bubble Boba UK* who treated my blogger pals and I to an exciting Easter experience where we learned how to make bubble tea!
Bubble Tea MasterClass!
Now, I’ve been to Bubble Boba a few times (understatement) but this was a completely new experience! There was a lovely balance of information that you’d expect at a proper formal class with all the fun of a night in with your pals! We first learned a little bit about where tea originates from, meanwhile taste testing ALL THE BUBBLE WAFFLES. Yep, that’s right – we split every single type between us so we could sample all the flavours.
The unicorn waffle was definitely the favourite amongst my blogger pals but for me it had to be the Matcha Green Tea one! I’d been to Bubble Boba SO many times but I’d always been too scared to try it. I was not disappointed! I’ll definitely be investing in one soon!
Next, we watched some more videos about how Boba Tea varies across the world – including some really weird and quirky ways of mixing in Malaysia and Thailand. What I loved to see was that Bubble Boba* really do their homework and have travelled far and wide to sample and explore all the tea experiences of the world they can! Tea culture is incredible and so ingrained into the history of almost every country around the world. I also learned that it’s the second most consumed drink straight after water!
Cue the concentration faces!
It was time to begin making our own Bubble Boba* drinks! We all had a chance to shake it up listening to some super funny Boba themed music videos and make a fruit tea (mine was a Polynesian Fruit Punch!) and a new and exclusive Easter themed Mini Egg Choc Chip milkshake to take home which is available in store April 1st! The other girls all picked their flavours and tried out the new Easter banana and strawberry fluff shakes!

Easy does it!
We became honorary bobaristas!
They took us through it step-by-step as we mixed cold tea with hot water then ice to cool it all back down again! It was an amazing evening and I am so happy to continue my partnership with this fantastic brand and with other businesses in FarGo! The shop is so cute and a lovely place to hang out with friends – I can’t wait to spend even more time there in the summer!
